We want our customers to shop with confidence, which is why we offer an exchange or refund in the event you change your mind. However, all returns requests must be made within 30 days of receiving your order. Requests should be made by using our Contact Form, fill in the required fields as best as possible to help us with the process. The following change of mind time frames apply:

  • In-store: 30 days from the date of purchase
  • Online (South Africa): 30 days from the date of delivery

Subject to the Consumer Guarantees outlined below, merchandise returned for change of mind within the above timeframes can be returned for an exchange or full refund subject to the following conditions:

  • Proof of purchase is accompanied with the returned merchandise;
  • The merchandise is unused, in its original condition with all tags and original packaging intact.
  • Any discounts received at the time of purchase will be carried over.
  • When your return is received and provided that all items are in new & unused condition with all tags, labels and original packaging, we will action your return request within 48 hours. Please note that the postage on your item (if any) is not refundable, and the cost of returning your item will be borne by you.

RETURNING ITEMS

It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure the safe delivery back to our 4X Light offices. So please take care when packaging the item.

POSTAGE COST OF RETURNED ITEMS

If your item is found to have a manufacturers fault, we will reimburse you any reasonable cost in returning the item. If your item was picked up from our warehouse, it is at the buyer’s expense to return the item. If your item is returned for any reason other than an approved warranty the postage cost is carried by the purchaser.

Please note that if it is determined that your item has become defective as a result of misuse, 4X Light reserves the right to request any postage expense it may have incurred prior to releasing the goods back to you.

Our warranty does not apply to any bonus or free items that may have been bundled with your item.

If you want to pick-up your purchase directly from us, please give us a call to arrange ahead of time. We do not carry stock at our offices in Brackenfell.

  • Shipping to major centers typically takes 1 – 2 working days.
  • Shipping to smaller centers typically takes 3 – 5 working days.
  • Shipping to outlying areas typically takes 5 – 7 working days.

All International shipping is handled directly through the Sales Team. International shipment requires a special quote. Please contact our offices for any assistance with international orders and shipment of deliveries.

WILL I NEED TO PAY ANY DUTIES OR TAXES FOR MY ORDER,  DOES THE AMOUNT I PAY YOU INCLUDE THIS? 

Customs or local duties and taxes are not included in your shipping fee paid to us. If applicable, you will need to pay any customs, duties or taxes once your item is processed by customs. 4X LIGHT is unable to determine what your country may charge you for these fees. We suggest that customers contact their local customs office for further information on duties, taxes, or custom fees for their country.
